Loku kuklonyeliswa kwabasebenzi asebesebenze iminyaka eminingi akuqali kulonyaka u-2019 ngoba ngo-2015 kwake kwenzeka, kodwa lokhu kwalonyaka bekuhluke kakhulu ngoba kuqalwa kumenywa abasebenzi bemenyelwa kulomcimbi bekunomuzwa ohlukile, angiphathi sebefikile bebegqoke beconsa ngenqephu yabo futhi kunomuzwa wokuba semndenini waloMasipala ngalolusuku,” kusho uNkk Shamatha Domum.
Long serving employees awarded
A DAY was filled with joy and excitement when three amongst other Dannhauser Municipality employees were awarded with certificates and tokens of appreciations for their long service. Dannhauser Municipality recently celebrated employees who had exceeded more than 10 years in-service. Mr B.S Ngidi was awarded as the longest serving employee as he had been loyal to the municipality for the past 41 years as general worker Supervisor, Mrs Sharda Naronthum serving 37 years as a Corporate Service Manager followed by Mr T.J Ngidi who had been in service for the past 36 years as a tractor driver. This is not the first award ceremony held in the Dannhauser Municipality. Mr Ngidi was awarded with a certificate for his loyalty to his service and a timepiece, Mrs Sharda Naronthum received a certificate and Mr B.S Ngudi received a certificate. “ We had one in 2015 but 2019 awards ceremony was huge and different as compared to the one before. The employees were invited to witness this prestigious day and they were dressed to kill. Invitations alone made you feel the special occasion. We felt like a big happy family as employees of Dannhauser municipality, starting from attires to refreshments,” said Shamatha Domum.
